Planting Process

The planting process for Haloxylon trees and Cistanche plants involves several key steps. First, marking and flagging is done using planting specifications of 3m x 5m or 3m x 3m x 6m to ensure straight lines. Next, holes are dug measuring 40cm x 40cm x 40cm. Seedlings with 20cm roots and 40cm height are planted, with topsoil covering the roots, followed by subsoil, and firmed by treading. After planting, thorough watering is essential, with additional watering at least once during May-June and once during July-September. Maintenance includes installing and repairing fences to prevent livestock grazing and regularly monitoring seedling growth to address any issues.
